Moroğlu Arseven Receives Top Ranking for Intellectual Property in Chambers & Partners’ 2018 European Awards, Plus Awards for Five Other Practice Areas and Five Individuals

Chambers & Partners recognized Moroğlu Arseven in six practice areas for its 2018 European Awards, also acknowledging five individual team members for their work across a diverse range of practice areas. The 2018 rankings see Moroğlu Arseven continue to be ranked in Band 1 for Intellectual Property, plus Band 3 for Corporate and M&A work, as well as TMT matters. 2018 sees the firm move up in the rankings to Band 2 for Employment work and Band 3 for Dispute Resolution. Chambers & Partners also notes the firm as a Recognized Practitioner for Energy and Project engagements.

Awards for six key practice areas

In 2018, Moroğlu Arseven continues to be ranked in Band 1 for Intellectual Property, with Chambers & Partners noting the “highly esteemed team well known for advising international clients on trade mark prosecution, as well as domain name and patent issues.” The researcher particularly noted the firm’s “varied and expanding client roster” for Intellectual Property.

The firm rises to Band 2 for Employment work in 2018. Six team members receive Individual recognition

Işık Özdoğan, LL.M., leading Moroğlu Arseven’s Intellectual Property practice, continues to receive top recognition and be personally ranked in Band 1 for Intellectual Property in Turkey. She is recognized in the Chambers & Partners’ European awards for the sixth year in a row. Clients praised her “vast expertise and practical, business-minded approach.”

Orçun Çetinkaya, LL.M., continues to be individually ranked in Band 3 for Dispute Resolution matters in Turkey, for the second year in a row. Chambers & Partners noted that sources reported Orçun to be “proactive, problem-solving, approachable and hard-working.”

Dr. E. Seyfi Moroğlu, LL.M., maintains his ranking in Band 4 for Corporate and M&A matters in Turkey, recognized in the Global Awards for the fourth year in a row.
