Within the scope of the Product Safety and Technical Regulations Law No. 7223, the products must be safe and comply with the technical regulations prepared by the authorized institution.
In this context, the products that the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency determines as unsafe or not in compliance with the technical regulations as a result of the inspections are published on its website.
Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency has recently determined that the surgical masks of three companies were unsafe and the PRP kit of one company was against the technical regulation. The details regarding these products were published on the Agency’s website with the announcements dated 10 January 2022, 14 January 2022 and 28 January 2022.
The Agency has banned placing these products on the market and also decided on recall and disposal of them. Those who have these products should apply to the manufacturer or importer of the product.
