Aslıhan focuses on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyright, domain names, designs, and unfair competition. She assists both domestic and international clients to protect and enforce intellectual property rights.
She advises many well-known brands on both sides of intellectual property conflicts and lawsuits. In order to protect clients’ intellectual property portfolios, she takes part in filing oppositions before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, preparing cease and desist letters, managing negotiations for clients, and filing lawsuits before the courts.
Aslıhan supports clients in order to prevent counterfeit goods entering Turkey, by handling seizure proceedings as well as criminal cases.
Aslıhan supports a broad range of domestic and international clients, most notably in the information technologies, pharmaceuticals, retail, and consumer sectors.
As of 2020, Aslıhan has started the Intellectual Property Law LL.M. program carried out by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and Ankara University.
