Bahadır focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, competition law, product liability, and standards, as well as commercial contracts and construction law matters. He assists foreign and domestic companies to deal with conflicts and day-to-day business operations in Turkey, as well as specific legal issues which apply to associations.
Bahadır supports clients in teams dealing with all aspects of conflicts, ranging from the early stages of evolving disputes, through to helping clients in court or enforcing court decisions. He assists clients with civil, criminal and litigation, as well as cross-border conflicts.
He helps clients to use a range of tools to settle their disputes and retrieve or protect their assets. For instance, assisting during settlement negotiations, along with obtaining concordat, interim injunctions, and precautionary attachment orders.
Bahadır regularly assists in preparing and revising commercial agreements for clients, including competition law aspects. He researches and drafts memoranda, supporting clients to understand and navigate their Turkish legal issues, obligations or restrictions.
He has experience assisting clients in a range of competition law related issues. For instance, Bahadır supports during the review of commercial agreements from a competition perspective, as well as attends mock dawn raids which reveal potential competition law sensitivities or exposures within clients’ day-to-day business. He also helps prepare merger control notifications and supports clients during a full range of issues during investigations by the Turkish Competition Authority.
Bahadır supports a broad range of domestic and international companies, most notably in the retail and consumer, information technology, real estate and construction, industrial and manufacturing, as well as agriculture sectors.
