Ülkü Koçal focuses on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, designs, copyrights, and unfair competition. She supports a broad range of domestic and international companies, most notably in the fashion, technology, food and beverage, and automotive sectors.

Ülkü takes part in litigation, prosecution, and enforcement procedures to protect clients’ domestic and intellectual property portfolios. Specifically, she is involved in filing oppositions before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, collecting evidence of proof of use, preparing cease and desist letters, and assisting during negotiations for consent, coexistence, or ownership arrangements. She also manages negotiations for clients and lawsuits before the courts. Additionally, she provides legal support to clients in unfair competition, trademark infringement, and cancellation litigation procedures.

Furthermore, she supports clients in enforcement matters to prevent counterfeit goods from entering Türkiye by handling seizure proceedings, as well as criminal lawsuits, including cases that lead to raids and seizures.
