Yavuz advises a broad spectrum of clients on all aspects of competition law, including investigations initiated by the Turkish Competition Authority, merger control matters, judicial review proceedings, negative clearance and exemption applications, as well as day-to-day competition compliance issues. He also supports clients across various sectors with all kinds of regulatory compliance matters.

Having taken part in numerous filings involving both domestic and cross-border transactions while also being involved in many collaborations with international law firms and in-house counsel on such projects, he also designs and delivers bespoke competition compliance programmes and represents clients during and after on-site inspections.

Yavuz also provides guidance to ensure that clients remain compliant with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and other rules issued by governmental bodies, particularly in regulated markets, including but not limited to administrative and tax matters, data protection, as well as relations with government agencies.

The sectors in which he advises clients include fast-moving consumer goods, consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals and veterinary products, construction, insurance, mining, field crop seeds and crop protection and poultry.
