Turkey has published the Decree on Amendment of the Decree on Implementation of Tariff Quota in Import of Grains and Pulses (“Decree”) implemented with the Presidency Decree numbered 2421 and dated 17 April 2020. The Decree amended article 2 of the Decree on Implementation of Tariff Quota in Import of Grains and Pulses implemented with the Presidency Decree numbered 641 and dated 15 January 2019 as follows, by including additional fiscal obligations in the scope of the article besides customs tax:
- Customs duty of 0% and/or additional fiscal obligations will be applied for the imports to be made within the scope of the tariff quota stated in article 1,
- Customs duty and/or additional fiscal obligations determined under the Decree on Import Regime will be applied for other imports.
