Dr. E. Seyfi Moroğlu has been invited to participate in an Advisory Committee for the Board of Directors to the Ege University Technology Development Zone (ideEGE-TGB). Seyfi has been invited due to his experience with university-industry cooperation as well as in corporate and technology law. His input has involved, among other things, advice regarding developing infrastructure to effectively encourage and nurture the transfer of theoretical education into commercial activities.

The newly established Ege University Technology Development Zone aims to combine the University’s research experience with the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry. The Development Zone includes companies which will put co-operation before competition. It aims to support academic and industrial entrepreneurship within a sustainable R&D and innovation ecosystem. The Development Zone initially includes 14 projects, which all have innovative concepts in the R&D stages, valid business plans, and commercial potential.
