The Law number 7226 regulated that the Information and Communication Technologies Authority should share electronic communication data such as mobile location data with administrative authorities, if requested in the following cases;
- Within the scope of search and rescue activities in disaster and emergency situations, limited to people affected by these disasters or emergencies.
- Within the scope of calls to emergency call centers, limited to the time taken in order to reach the callers.
