On 23 March 2020, the Personal Data Protection Authority (“Authority”) announced that the Personal Data Protection Board (“Board”) will take into account the extraordinary conditions that data controllers are in, while evaluating data controllers’ compliance with the necessary time periods to be taken into account by data controllers in terms of complaints, notices and data breach notifications submitted to the Authority within the scope of Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“DP Law”), for each specific application and data breach notification.
