Our team supports clients from project inception to the operational phase, helping to ensure compliance with Turkish energy market legislation in the electricity, natural gas, petroleum, mining, and renewable energy sectors.

Renewable and Clean Energy

Turkey’s renewable energy sector offers significant opportunities through YEKDEM (Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism) and other incentive schemes. We advise on solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal projects, covering land acquisition, environmental and zoning permits, EPC and O&M agreements, financing arrangements, and grid connection processes.

Oil, Gas and Mining

We act for exploration and production companies, service providers, and investors in oil, natural gas, and mining projects. Our work covers joint ventures, concession and royalty agreements, production sharing contracts, exploration licenses, transportation and distribution arrangements, and compliance with Turkish mining legislation, including for projects involving resources of strategic importance for Turkey.

Energy Transactions and Power Purchase Agreements

We design and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), supply and offtake contracts, and grid connection agreements. Our counsel balances commercial terms with compliance with Turkey’s strict regulations. We also provide support on international electricity trading, renewable energy certificate programs (I-REC, GoOs), and market entry strategies for foreign investors.
