Işık Özdoğan and Gökçe İzgi have been recognized in the inaugural WIPR Leaders awards. The awards recognize leading intellectual property practitioners around the world, focusing on trademarks and patents. Işık receives recognition for her work in trademarks, while Gökçe is recognized for both trademarks and patents.

World IP Review launched the WIPR Leaders awards in 2017, identifying practitioners based on peer nominations. The research team then selected winners by vetting nominees’ practice history, industry expertise and notable cases, as well as any additional activities, such as writing and teaching responsibilities, which have allowed the lawyers to shape and influence other and future IP practitioners. World IP Review and its sister publications provide news and guidance on the challenges facing businesses and legal practitioners active in intellectual property, as well as online marketing and branding professionals. More information can be found on the WIPR Leaders website.
