Moroğlu Arseven co-hosted a breakfast seminar, together with McNair International and RPC Law Firm on “The Implications of Russia sanctions for litigation and arbitration”. The event, took place on 12 October 2022, at Sait Halim Pasha Mansion, was also supported by Istanbul Arbitration Week and Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC).

The event was chaired by Moroğlu Arseven partner Dr. Erhan Seyfi Moroğlu, while the speaking panel included Tatiana Minaeva (Partner, RPC Law Firm), Joseph Dyke (Senior Associate, McNair International), Fulya Kurar (Senior Associate, Moroğlu Arseven), Valikhan Shaikenov (Principal, Juris Consultus, Shaikenov Law Experts) and Aybike Karahan Gökdere (Vice-Secretary General, EDAC).

The panel explored the different ways in which ongoing and future litigation and arbitration may be affected by the recent developments and discuss the derivative implications of sanctions in various jurisdictions, including Turkey.
