According to the Regulation Amending the Regulation on Application to Mediation and Arbitration in Collective Labor Agreements, published in the Official Gazette dated 23.11.2023 and numbered 32378 (“Regulation”), changes have been made to the Selection Committee, which determines who’s eligible to act as mediators.
Prior to the relevant amendment, it was regulated that the Selection Committee determining those eligible to act as mediators would include the Undersecretary or Deputy Undersecretary. With the relevant Regulation, the expression “Undersecretary or Deputy Undersecretary” has been replaced with “Deputy Minister.”
