The administrative fines indicated by the Law on Consumer Protection to be applied for 2024 were revised.
With the Communiqué on Administrative Fines to be Imposed in 2024 Pursuant to Article 77 of the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers (“Communiqué“) published in the Official Gazette dated 20 December 2023 and numbered 32405, the administrative fines to be imposed in case of violation of relevant articles of the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers (“Law“) have been increased by 58,4%.
The revised administrative fine rates stipulated under Article 77 of the Law to be applied in the year 2024 are published in the Communiqué.
The revised rates will apply for administrative fines issued between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.
