Moroğlu Arseven is pleased to announce that Burcu Tuzcu Ersin is joining the firm as Counsel. Burcu brings eight years of experience in corporate law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, energy, real estate and telecommunications law, private equity and venture capital.
Burcu graduated from Ankara University School of Law in 2001 and obtained her LL.M. in Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2006. Prior to joining Moroğlu Arseven she worked at PwC Turkey for seven years where she was Senior Manager and in a law firm as head of the Corporate Law department.
Burcu’s recent cases include representing international and local clients for sell-side and buy-side merger and acquisitions transactions and venture capital firms for their fund-raising activities; planning and implementing divestment strategies; and advising publicly traded companies in respect of capital markets regulations. She is a member of several working groups of the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD) and the International Bar Association.
