Partner, Burcu Tuzcu Ersin, contributed as a guest lecturer to the Boğaziçi University Management Department’s course on Entrepreneurship, taught by Dr. Joachim Behrendt. 2014 is the second year Burcu has acted as a guest lecturer in Dr. Behrendt’s course.
Burcu’s interactive lecture addressed the legal aspects and practical considerations of start-up financing focusing on term sheets, touching on non-disclosure as well as share purchasing agreements. Burcu also writes a regular blog on this topic for Webrazzi.com.
Dr. Joachim Behrendt is the Founder of BIC Angel Investments. He is the first foreigner to obtain an Angel Investor Licence in Turkey (“Bireysel Katılım Yatırımcı Lisansı”). BIC Angel Investments invests in internet industry start-up companies, including e-commerce, mobile applications, as well as social or location-based services, targeting projects in early and seed stage.
