Dr. E. Seyfi Moroğlu participated in the advisory committee for the TTNET Technology Valley (TTNET Teknoloji Vadisi) event hosted by Bahçeşehir University November 18. The event was held as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Dr. Moroğlu participated on a panel that observed 10 presentations from entrepreneurs. These presenters had previously been selected from 600 applicants seeking to join the TTNET Technology Valley incubator program. Dr. Moroğlu and fellow panelists gave feedback to presenters regarding legal, commercial and strategic business considerations and also advised on business revenue models.
The TTNET Technology Valley program is an Istanbul-based incubator for entrepreneurs and startups. It supports entrepreneurs to develop and launch their business idea and often acting as a bridge between entrepreneurs and investors. Support provided by the program to selected entrepreneurs includes office facilities, entrepreneurship training, consulting, use of data centers and providing additional resources such as software licenses.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide celebration of innovators and entrepreneurs that takes place in November each year, involving a wide range of events in over 138 countries. Turkish events in 2013 included panels, seminars, workshops, competitions, training programs and web meetings.
