Moroğlu Arseven has been noted as a recommended firm for patent litigation and transactions by IAM Patent 1000 is its 2016 awards. The firm receives specific mention for the cross-over between patents and corporate or M&A work.
Based on its research of the Turkish legal market, IAM Patent 1000 noted that the firm is “[r]esolutely international and forward thinking.” It went on to note the firm “is active on the prosecution side, but really comes into its own on transactional and enforcement briefs; commercial acumen and a flair for negotiations are hallmarks, thanks to input from the firm’s strong corporate and M&A teams.”
Işık Özdoğan, who leads the firm’s 13 person intellectual property team, is identified as a “client favourite.”
IAM Patent previously noted that “[f]ew of Turkey’s corporate firms can lay claim to a credible patent practice, but Moroğlu Arseven is a notable exception”.
