Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Moroğlu

Independent Of Counsel

Prof. Erdoğan Moroğlu served as a board member in many banks and groups of companies as chief legal counsel between 1975 and 2001. He was the chief legal consultant of the Turkish Capital Market Board from 1995 to 1997.

He was also a professor of Commercial and Banking Law at İstanbul University School of Law. He published leading books and articles in these fields, still regarded as some of the foremost contributions to corporate, commercial, and financial law in Türkiye.

Besides his own practice and support provided to several institutions and numerous İstanbul firms, he was also an independent of counsel of the firm from 2000 to 2020.

We remember him with the deepest respect.

Şerafettin Şirin

Independent Of Counsel

Şerafettin Şirin served in various regions of Türkiye across different branches and levels of the judiciary and was appointed to the Istanbul Commercial Courts in 1987, upon his own request.

During his tenure on the bench, he chose to focus on commercial law and became a prominent researcher and author in the field and he published a number of influential works.

After voluntarily retiring from the judiciary in 1998, he continued his legal career as an independent attorney, offering consultancy in commercial law, contract law, intellectual and industrial property law, enforcement and bankruptcy law, consumer law, labor law, and tax law. He also acted as an arbitrator in both domestic and international disputes.

He supported the firm as an independent of counsel from 2000 to 2015. His work and legacy continue
to inspire and guide us.

We remember him with the deepest respect.
