Melike Nurefşan Yardımcı graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Law in 2018. As part of the Erasmus Student Exchange Program, she studied at Leiden University Faculty of Law for six months. In 2024, she successfully defended her thesis titled “Trademark Registration Obstacles Based on Copyright Ownership in Light of Court of Cassation Decisions” and completed her Master’s in Commercial Law at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute. In the same year, she began her doctoral studies in Private Law at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute, where she continues her academic pursuits.

Melike specializes in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademarks, copyrights, domain names, designs, and unfair competition. She handles opposition proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, conducts settlement negotiations with opposing parties, and drafts related agreements. Additionally, she provides legal support in litigation before Intellectual and Industrial Property Courts.

She advises both domestic and international companies operating in various sectors, particularly pharmaceuticals, fashion, automotive, construction, insurance, and food and beverage industries.

Furthermore, she offers effective solutions to prevent counterfeit goods from entering the Turkish market, including customs interventions and criminal proceedings.
