Seyfi advises companies, funds, financial services companies, banks and shareholders in a wide variety of complex projects or conflicts. He offers strategic support during transactions, disputes, investigations, regulatory compliance, as well as day-to-day commercial and employment matters. Seyfi has a strong track record advising on cross-border corporate and financial transactions, as well as developing tailored contracts and corporate structures to ensure each client’s operations run smoothly in Turkey.

He has substantial expertise advising on comparative legal and functional issues, guiding international clients on how domestic legal issues will impact their global operations or commercial strategies.

He has significant expertise advising clients during mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships including disputes that arise from them. These transactions frequently involve high-values, or clients dealing with cross-border complications, customized legal structures, distressed entities, power imbalances, along with complicated regulatory, financing or security obstacles.

Seyfi has notable expertise in managing shareholder clashes and evolving conflicts during transactions, along with disputes arising from contractual claims, partnerships, director liabilities, administrative or tax liabilities, professional negligence, or regulatory compliance.

Seyfi has led many sensitive internal investigations, and regulatory investigations as well as regulatory disputes addressing issues such as import regime, mismanagement, capital market obligations, product liability, commercial liability, employee misconduct, and subsequent director or project-based consequences.

Seyfi taught Corporate and Commercial Law, Capital Markets Law and Secured Transactions as an associate professor at Yeditepe University School of Law and Koç University School of Law between 2002 and 2008. He was a founding member of the Turkish chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
