The Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Consumer Arbitration Committees (“Regulation”) was published in the Official Gazette numbered 31115 and dated 2 May 2020 within the scope of the measures taken due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Within the scope of the Regulation, all suspension periods stipulated under provisional article 1 of Regulation on the Consumer Arbitration Committees (“Consumer Regulation”) are extended from 30 April 2020 to 15 June 2020.
Within the scope of Regulation;
- Convention of the consumer arbitration committees,
- Terms for the submission of information and documents requested by the consumer arbitration committees, terms granted to experts for the preparation of expert reports and terms for the service of the decisions rendered by the consumer arbitration committees
have been suspended until 15 June 2020.
