Dumping Measures for Malaysian and Jordan Coagulated Artificial Leather Have Been Taken 

Based upon investigative findings of the Board for Evaluation of Unfair Competition in Imports, measures implemented to counter dumping of “Only non-woven fabrics with a weight of 150 g per m2, covered with polyurethane, coated or laminated, made of artificial and synthetic fibers suitable for textiles” and “Only imitations of leather with a backing made of textile materials, with a weight per m2 exceeding 150 g” from Malaysia and Jordan, under tariff code 5603.12 and 3921.13, will continue as follows:

Dumping Measures Suspended in Polyester Stable Fiber

Based upon decision of the Board for Evaluation of Unfair Competition in Imports and approval of the Ministry of Trade, measures implemented to counter dumping of synthetic staple fibers of polyester (polyester stable fiber) from People’s Republic of China, Taiwan of China, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Thailand, under tariff statistical code 5503.20.00.00.00, have been suspended until safeguard measures are in effect.

Procedure and Basis of Polyester Stable Fiber Tariff Quota Have Been Regulated

The tariff quota for each period in which additional financial obligations are applied has been determined as 16,593 tons for the whole of the goods, and the quota given in a period cannot exceed 5,531 tons. Applications will be made through the Ministry Website.
